Reminds me of the drive parts from mass effect 1, but more difficult to control. The respawn animation looks nice, but actually respawing leads to restarting the game because nothing works anymore. Driving backwards feels somthing off, too.
I like the respawn animation! However, it's weird because I respawned but were unable to move again.
It's difficult to control the car and the sound is too loud. But I think for the first timer it's good enough.
At least you something executable on time. The main goal of this game is simple, and the music is pretty.
As commented already, car is pretty unstable, but I understand that making a controllable car in Godot is a pain. ;)
Aside from that, car SFX are a bit too sharp for the ear, and the game could use some HUD indicator where the next checkpoint is.
The respawn animation was pleasant, though it could've been longer and with better camera positioning.
It is fun, but if car was more stable I could have enjoyed driving at high speed and jumping over the terrains, I need to play it real slow now :(
I really think the car being unstable is part of the "glitch" theme. It isn't? =))
I know. I tried to make it better but it's a problem with Godots Vehicle Body node. There were a lot of values you can change but I don't know what a lot of them do. In the end it might just be that the terrain has too many polygons!
