The bullet collision sound is so satisfying. It was fun to merge while dodging a ton of bullets. The fast pace was nice too. Great game.

A fun game that plays well.   Would be good with twin stick controls too I bet.  I did beat the first 2 levels without killing any turrets because the metallic "hit" sound effect gave me the impression they were invincible.  Glad they were destructible or the difficulty would have been super hard :).  Nice job!

Nice particle effects!

The game is pretty fun. Simple, but it works pretty well. I would say that the UI could be improved (it's easy to accidentally quit the game from the upgrade menu, or right after losing because I was spamming clicks). But the difficulty curve is well balanced, and the mechanics enjoyable. Good job!

I like this game. It would be better if i don't need to seek for crates every time I see that I didn't open exit.)) It was like - i'm seeking something on a already done level. Routine. All of other things like: gameplay, art, music, sound. I like it))

Fun game! You can safely shoot some of the gun turrets from behind corners while they hit the corner in some situations. I do agree with previous commenter that how many red blocks are left is needed.

This was fun and nostalgic! The upgrade option is a good reward system that really adds to the game. Great job :)

I find it hard to believe you're a first time programmer/artist/etc, because this is very good!  The game is satisfying to play and not hard to figure out.  The sound effects are nice, they don't feel overwhelming.

I would recommend you have a tutorial in the game rather than having a page that explains everything.  Interactive instructions are always more enjoyable!

The one thing I didn't like here was the need to find every red block in order to advance.  In a couple of the levels it felt tedious to go back through the whole level to figure out what I missed.  At the very least, a sign by the portal saying "There a X red blocks left" would have been good.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a message. The closest I got to programming before was working with Linux. Godot/Gdscript is new to me, I've been learning it and Gimp on YouTube for a few months now, which is also where I learned about this game jam. I play a lot of games so I tried to make sure that my game has the things that I think a game should be like. And I let my wife test my game very often, it helped me a lot to get her feedback as I developed my game.

I appreciate your feedback on the red boxes and a tutorial.  After the rating period has passed I will try to implement them. Time was a big issue for me, I had to remove many functions and features, levels and bosses just to have a playable game at the end of the jam period.

I had a very fun time playing this game. It was clear and simple yet very entertaining.  Also I really enjoyed the fact that it had a Boss Level!
