Godot Version
3.1.1

Source
No, it's pretty rough in there.

Game Description
Gameplay features six different pets and an evolution tree between them. Typical game duration is between five and ten minutes. Because game duration is short, the pet requires substantially more attention than traditional pet simulators.

Well, I found myself constantly feeding because it adds so little to the bar. Also I don't have a clue if playing actually does anything. How do I get other pets? Didn't play long because it's too repetitive for me.

The controls are intuitive and responsive and I had no technical issues. Seeing that this is your first  submission this is something you can build on.

...empty... it feels so incredibly empty...
Island is there just to adhere to theme, and everything else conveys little meaning or emotion of its own.

It has such a great parody, creepiness and genre subversion potentials you can almost smell it, but it is not used, and mechanics doesn't really cover for the loss.

If you want to know how to subvert game genres, look up Frog Fractions which is dusguised as a children game. Frog Fractions 2, which is disguised as Glittermitten grove (a management game about fairies) is even more mindblowing.

I got to the third evolution! Cute animals. In this type of game it would be nice if there was a bit more of balancing (playing makes you hungry, eating increases need to play or dirt produced etc.). Now it felt a bit more like a clicker game.
