Very  cute graphics, great polish in the gameplay too. I included it in my Godot Wild Jam #17 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Great game. I really like the interpretation of the jam's theme here. The gameplay was easy to learn and very fun. My only gripe would be is the crowd audio is a bit too sudden and jarring.

Thank you for your feedback!

We had a lot more audio prepared but unfortunately we ran out of time, so the new files will be added when the voting is over! ;)

Overall a great experience, the only thing that sort of drags me out of it are how the hexagon highlights draw over the UI and outside of the actual play area. The gameplay is simple but effective, and works well with the theme~

Regarding the hex highlight, it is indeed something we should fix after the jam. Thank you for the feedback, and glad you enjoyed the game!

Thank you for playing the game!

I tried fixing the hex highlights drawing over the UI, but it was complicated so we postponed it :D

Great game! I really enjoyed playing this. This could definitely be published.

Haha thank you! Very happy to see you enjoyed the game :)

The graphics are awesome! (Somehow in my browser the textures are a bit pixelated but still the art style looks fantastic)

After a couple of rounds I got into the Game Play Mechanics too and I have to say: this is the new chess! :D

Would be cool to have the opponend be controled by a second player! :))

Oh I will have to look at these textures, that shouldn't happen. By any chance, was your browser zoomed in or out? Thank you for the feedback.
Truth be told, Asheraryam had implemented player vs player from the beginning (so we could test the gameplay before there was an AI) but it was buggy and was disabled before we submitted the game. You'll be happy to know that he plans to fix it and re-enable it after the jam ends.

I had this trouble in my last project too: the pixel-problem is caused by the windows setting "screen scale". Using a laptop Windows sets up 150% scale. Maybe you should use the "Stretch"-Method in Godot Project Settings to solve the problem. (At least this is what I did and it solved the dilemma) 👍

Thank you for playing the game!

Before the deadline we realized the local multiplayer had bugs because of all the new features, so we decided to disable it instead of letting players get frustrated XD

It will be added in the weekend as soon as the voting is over
