Some Karens would punish you for mentioning cell tower in the game:) A good hypercasual idea here!

Just copying this comment from the project page:

Pretty fun! I enjoy a high-score based game every once in a while. I also thought the artwork was very charming!

At the same time, I found myself unsure about whether or not the tower was in the correct position. I bet if you toned down the wobble animation, it would be a little more clear. This may just be a side effect of the web export lag though.

Thanks for playing!

Also, yeah, I agree that I did have a bit too much fun with the cell tower's wobble, haha :)

Cool concept, dude! I liked the graphics and the animation on the cell tower.

There are some issues I see right off the bat, like: it's kinda hard in the beginning and there is no much space for learning and the control with the mouse wheel is not very responsive. I believe if the controls were a bit more forgiving (maybe with a snap?) it could be potentially frictionless during the initial play.

Good job!

Thanks for playing!

I'm still relatively new to Godot and to game dev in general... I wonder how I can properly implement a snap. Do I use a bunch of if statements (if position is greater than this but less than this)?

I tried to play, but my mouse wheel is broken!

I added the left and right arrow keys as controls on the web version. You do have to mash the buttons pretty quickly, though, which makes the game a little harder to play. I hope that helps. :)

Interesting and funny concept, but I think the controls are really hard, arrow keys with some acceleration/deceleration could of been better IMO.  Bonus points for wiggly tower^^

Developer

Hi! I updated the game to use arrow keys alongside the scroll wheel! I didn't add any acceleration though, since the jam is over and it might not be fair to keep working on it... I hope adding arrow keys makes it more playable, though!

Thanks for playing!

I must admit I quite enjoyed wiggling the cell tower :D

Developer

I'm glad you had fun! I do think the wiggling is the best part of my game. :)

Playing this made me laugh so hard! Great entry!

Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it.

The game works and respect the theme! I can't get past the 25.9s though

Thanks for your comment! :)

Yeah, sometimes the game gets hard. My average score is around 25, too... Sometimes the randomness makes it so that you have to sway way too much way too quickly. My high score is 40.8, though,  but I think that's just because of a combination of luck and testing the game a lot.
