Wonderful, the levels at the end are little bit harder than I expected. The animation and sound effects where spot on, the entire theme of the game was very consistent. The mechanics were very well thought out. Time flies by trying to complete each level. Amazing game.

Great puzzle game! Pleasing graphically and with well fitting audio as well. I have to congratulate you on the amount of content you put into this one in this short time, though I have to admit I gave up on the "We take time" level, it just didn't feel like I have the coordination in my fingers and head to finish that one. It found it quite hard to mentally figure out in which direction the bird would move when I changed the direction even after finishing quite few levels :)

Even though this jam produced quite few connect the dots style games, this one has to be one of my favorite. Not just for this type of game, but for the jam overall as well! Keep up good work and I sincerely hope to see more from you :)

EDIT: Oh, and nice too see fellow developer from neighboring country ;). I'm from Slovenia.

Neat puzzle game! I liked the look and the two-button was very fitting for the game. Nice work!

Wow, very stylish puzzle game, I love the menu, the graphics and sound design! It's just so cool!

Also very nice implementation of the Two-Button-Wildcard. I could see this working very well on phones too!

Wonderful game!!!

PS: I am stuck at the level "Even when the storm comes", does anyone have a hint?

I got stuck there too

Great graphics and clever puzzle design. The direction switching was neat and surprisingly challenging for being a simple mechanic.

When I tried to open the application on mac it said "file not found", but I right clicked and went into the package contents and went to Contents/MacOS/Linebirds and opened that and it worked great. Very fun and challenging puzzle game. Good work!

Strange, I used the same method for uploading a Mac game file I've used for years. Oh well, glad you got it to work. :D

Yeah maybe it was my computer being weird. I'm glad too, it was a lot of fun!

There were a few massive jumps in difficulty that I wasn't expecting, but aside from that, this game was awesome. Tested on a Mac with success. Not sure if intentionally left out or if I just missed it, but would be nice to know which bird is going first somehow, either making it more obvious if you already had it, or having it at all if you didn't. I know that sort of defeats the purpose on some maps, but still felt a bit trickier than it needed to be to just have an immediate death because you had to gamble on which bird was starting. Otherwise, great game!

Thanks! I agree, there used to be the same indicators for players as you get when they have different patterns, but I decided to hide them since the movement pattern ends up being obvious. But I agree, it could induce some form of uncertainty into player. Probably should've added something like a circle around current player, then it would be pretty clear. Too late now for that. XD

Pretty original concept!  Art was really clean and the music/ambiance fit the feel of the game.   The steady increase of difficulty/mechanics felt pretty good since once I thought I had it figured out, things switched up on me again.

Great entry!

Not sure what I expected lol, it's Winged and John. It's obviously a good game, nice and calm, with well designed puzzles. I have encoutered a visual bug or two, seemingly caused by the portals.

I really like the various "modes" of play that the levels have

I tried playing the Linux version and as soon as I select any level/puzzle, the game gives me a Segmentation Fault. The menu looked beautiful though!

When I tried it on my mac the same thing happened. It looks cool though, so I'll try it on my windows computer tomorrow

Developer

Hi, I have found what might be the problem and uploaded a new build with the fix applied. Please give it a go now. :)
