Pretty neat, i like the sorta speedrun vibe you get from the game since you have to not only beat the level but beat it on time, i like the puzzle element in it with the alternate routes, keys to pick up to unlock some routes etc...

Sadly i didn't go very far, i got stuck on the 2nd level with the baby, cause i couldnt figure out where i could pass when reaching the spiky blocks near the end, and i can't seem to grab the second key without being stuck, spikes block the way and i can't jump high enough to go back up :(

Other than that the game feels solid, especially if it's a first.

So i'd say level design aside you did good :)

Thanks for playing. :) Yep, I always have in the back of my mind the speed-running aspects of a game. It's been quite fun competing with my cousins for best times since I submitted the game!

If it helps, you can either slowly carry the baby under the wave of spikes, or throw her to the top then go across the top yourself. There is no need to grab the second key on the Tuesday level.

Level design is tough -- I spent a lot of time trying to refine the puzzles to have an appropriate difficulty curve.

The game was amazing. The art, music and SFX was a good choice.

But I was wishing that the levels changes, not the same one with another challenge (Which was a clever idea by the way). And one small bug, that the music doesn't loop, it stops after a while.

Overall the game was enjoyable. Nice job!

Thanks!

I chose the repeating level because I thought it made the puzzle more interesting -- forcing the player to think differently about the same setup. Oh, and of course it cut down on development time too. :)

Not looping the music was a choice. It ends roughly at 6pm and the sky is much darker by then. But your comment makes me realise that perhaps a different track, or just some ambient wind noise should start playing at that time.. so you know you're playing after the buzzer (so to speak).

Yes I think another sound track would work. Or my be you repeat the level since the concept of the game is to reach home before 6pm.
