Thanks to everyone who give feedback, to be our first game attemp we are quite happy with the results.

The sound effects are good, and I like the idea of a tower defence on a ship. The crows nest was cool how it zoomed out the camera. The animation for the tentacles attacking the ship didn't seem aggressive so i didn't realise that they had damaged the ship maybe show them breaking parts off the ship, the other animations were cool though. Loved the viking head cursor! Well done with the game!

Thanks for the feedback, the main idea was to move arround and play with the camera, so I'm happy that was a success.

Maybe next time with a little more experience we could make better animations and effect to improve the feedback to the player.

I like the idea, it is pretty original but I did not understand how to win or what the green bar was.

The art style is also original and pretty good.

The camera changes could be a bit more smooth.

Btw I tried out your game on stream ( https://www.twitch.tv/videos/878547511 , around 2:45:00). If you participate to the next GWJ I can play your next game as well!

Thanks you verry much! I know is a bit clunky, but we are happy we could make something so complicated playable in time

The death animation of the tentacles is top juice. I moved the archers to a better posicion and then started a loop of going to the center to see whats coming, and then get out of it to throw them axes with sniper aiming, didnt touch the archers again. Still didnt understand what to do when the kraken head appeared, axes had no effect, archers didnt shoot at it. Controls are a bit confusing. Nice idea, feels a bit convoluted, needs more thought in the execution. Did you make the music? Its quite nice.

Thanks for the feedback, and i'm happy the main idea of the game was a success (more or less).

And yes, one of us make the music, thanks!

Cute game, I like the uniformity of the graphics! They are quite nice.
However, I found the controls a little bit... troublesome. Maybe implementing a RTS-like would be better? (left-click select, right-click directs where to move). Maybe it' just me haha

Developer(+2)

Maybe that kind of controls could be better, thanks for the feedback!
