Cool concept, and solid execution! It really felt smooth and clean. And I imagine just getting that degree of polish limited you in other areas. While I do feel that the design is incredibly clean, I felt that the game itself was fairly empty. And that isn't to be rude! I'm sure you felt the same too. But, even with no goal and very limited interactions, I still wanted to abuse the systems you put in place lol. And that's when I encountered a fairly critical design issue.
I let the game idle while accumulating funds, hoping to be able to take over the whole island ya know? Set my own little goal and try to achieve it. Then I realized that I capped at 250. Ok, fine. I can still work with that. So I set up my belts and began to pump out buildings to boost my GPM. That's when I started to notice a trend; due to the inflation in cost (no doubt intentional and didn't really bother me at first) I noticed that even with much more production, I wasn't really building faster. So I decided to time it. From the very start of the game, to when I stopped (inflation around 220ish) I had gained a roughly 8 second advantage in production. Which.. Wasn't actually all that much. You hit the 2 buildings per minute mark rather quick, and- then it just sort of hovers around there. You DO increase the speed at which you can make new buildings, but it's very minimal.
In a full scale game, I would gladly take that minimal increase and keep boosting it. But given the scale of your current prototype, it would have been nice to be able to do more in less time. ^^
But! Beautiful game, fun Factorio-esque mechanics, and amazing polish. Very nicely done just the same!

thank you for the feedback! initially the production increase percentile wasn't this low and i realised it was too high, and the player arrived to a point where basically everything didn't cost anything anymore. as you can imagine this created also a lot of performance issues, so i decided to make the cost of everything increase drastically (probably too much). thanks again you feedback was very helpful <3
Nice prototype. Performance wasn't that good though, even with the downloaded version. This was on Linux, so others' mileage may vary I guess.
The idea and graphics were smooth which made me get into the game more. My game crushed after trying to destroy the building, which made me lose my progress. However, this is a great prototype and could evolve into an awesome game!
i am really really sorry for the crash. It's written in C# and it was one of the first time for me to use it, so when i tested it, there were some errors but i wasn't able to fix. when i tested it in the editor i didn't care a lot about them, because they didn't do the anything but it seems like they make the game crash in the exported version. again, i am really sorry for that. thanks by the way :)
This is really impressive. Easy to learn yet enjoyable.
I had a bit of a hard time as zoom and lmb-delete was not working on my mac-trackpad. But I'll give it another try when I'm on a computer with a mouse :)
Well done!
You've done a phenomenal job in 8 days.
The game looks and sounds great and I picked up the controls pretty quickly.
The game is a lot of fun to play and it is easy to get hooked fast.
Super impressed, nice job!
Controls and graphics are great; its clear you put a lot of time into the animations and it shows in how smooth everything feels. It feels professional, and I really like it!
