This was an interesting game. I had to read the instructions a few times just to make sure I understood what I had to do. I think if you added some feedback (visual and/or audio) to whether the SPACEBAR was pressed correctly or not when required that would make the game flow better.
The reason I did not add a visual or audio cue was so you would have to look back and forth between the raft and the letters. I do think I would be open to adding a setting where you could turn on an audio cue, but it would be an easier difficulty setting.
This game was certainly more challenging than I initially expected. I wasn't sure what the instructions meant by each rotation until I died a few times and figured it out. This game perfectly grabs my attention and always makes me want to take "just one more" try to beat my high score.
You can't believe how hyped I was seeing it was a typing game. I quite liked the visuals with the sahders too, though it can get a bit dizzy when the raft spins + rotates. Besides that it was a bit hard to know when exactly the person's head counts as up/timeframe for pressing space bar, btu I got thehang of it more or lessover a few plays.
Thanks :) I also realized that after finishing the game, I kind of wish I had added a setting to adjust rotation and zoom. The game is supposed to be a little dizzying with out it being too bad, so I think these options would have helped.
Nice concept. The ocean effect is pretty cool, although I found the font difficult to read sometimes.
Thanks, and I was going for a hard to read text (which is why there isn't a penalty for wrong letters), but do think I may have over did it a little.
Wow, that was a trip, after failing a couple of times I feel like I really got seasick haha
Love the visual effects, makes it hard to read the letters but I think that's the point, great job!
