This is a great game, I loved the feeling when I nailed moving the way I wanted!

Awesome job!

Developer

Thanks for playing and helping me rate my game. Glad you enjoy the movement as it is my favourite feeling too :)

Love the art, reminds me of early games. The movement is a bit hard to master, but it makes it fun, great job!

Developer

Yes I agree movement can be tricky. This is a dark souls hard as nails game! :) Thanks for playing and rating my game.

I think the movement in this game, although difficult to control, is pretty fun--in particular, I like that jumping out of the water is just a matter of literally pointing yourself towards the water and building up enough speed. It just has a good game feel, I think.

As such, I did try jumping out of the water a lot, but I wasn't able to figure out how to score an aeriel somersault. I couldn't manage to somersault over the boat (only over empty water), so maybe that was my problem.

Developer(+1)

Yep, somersaulting over the boat scores an aerial. You must not touch the boat at any point in the movement.

Nice game, controls where a little tough but I think that added to the experience.  I also really liked the coral sprites.

Developer

Thank you for the nice feedback.

The dolphin was so fun to control and I had a blast jumping in and out of water! The splash was pretty satisfying too! Great job!

Thanks for playing. Glad you enjoyed it!

dude! That's not how a dolphin moves! :D It was fun to try to control that guy and shoot the sharks. I tried moving as fast as possible but it wasn't a good idea :D

I really liked the splash of water when something gets out of the water, it's a nice touch

Developer

Actually moving as fast as possible is a good idea! You can preserve momentum by switching between forward and backward thrusts in the direction of momentum to maintain maximum speed. But yeah... that's not how a dolphin moves. :) Thanks for playing.

Nice game. Although the controls are kind of difficult to manage this makes the gameplay more chaotic but fun.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! From all the comments, I'm going to be selling the difficult controls as a "feature"! :)

Fun little game! The controls are a bit over the top and need some getting used to^^
I liked all the little achievements that you can get.

Developer

Thanks for playing! I guess I underestimated how difficult the controls can be when I have a lot of hours tweaking and testing.

After many attempts, we finally got on the boat! Great!

I'm going on a trip with this cat!

Developer(+1)

Well done! Is that shark coming on the trip as well? If not that's the next challenge! :)

Submitted

This was fun and addictive, well done

Developer

Thank you! :)

This is super fun! I love how hectic it is, the controls are great despite how fast the character moved, and the concept was easy to grasp. Great Job!

Developer

Thanks for the nice feedback and thank you for playing!
