Very interesting concept!

Thanks for playing!

Nice concept, I enjoyed playing it. Could be polished a bit.
I have 2 suggestions:
1. Keep the bubbles after reset (r) - Or maybe just the ghost - it will make it easier to keep track of the bubbles positions.
2. Don't tell me how to solve the puzzle - let me find the solution by myself (things like "Right Here!" or "Red lies").

Well done;

First of all thanks for playing!

Yeah I really should have thought about keeping the bubbles after reseting, a friend told me the exact same thing yesterday too. So I'll put that in as fast as i can after jam

And yeah I suppose I shouldn't have done the texts like that after all. It was just that since my games have never had much on the narrative side so I wanted to jam it in, which yeahh...wasn't great. Thanks for bringing that to my notice!

My pleasure. Jam is a good place to try things out.

I like games where there is a setup phase, then a play phase. Removing the jump ability is a good way of doing this! Controls were a little tough for me (the bubble popping and movement all happens very quickly), as well as not being able to see the entire level. :) Nice work, hope you continue it. 👍

Developer

Thanks for playing! Also yeah, I'l ldefinitely work on this more after jam.

I loved the originality on this submission, having to preplan jumps is such a neat idea. I had to give up on the spike fall level, but it was fun!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing <3 yeah sorry, that lvl was way too hard

A neat little idea, this one! I'm afraid level seven got the better of me. Being able to zoom the camera out would have been a welcome feature.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yeah you're definitely spot on with that, I'll add it post jam.

Also yeah, I really should have done more playtesting, especially that lvl7.

Wow! a very unique puzzle game that requires less raging but more planning. The game is fun regardless of the simple graphics. The only downside I think is that the direction keys are a bit too sensitive when placing circles.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing,  yeah you're right, the pre-play camera defintiely does need some changes.

Got stuck on level 7, what a fun puzzle game! I like the peculiar bubble jump mechanic a lot, very original.

Wow what a unique mechanic! Deciding where you would jump before playing the level is very cool. I found it to be quite difficult.  The angles are quite punishing.

Developer

Thank you for playing! To be honest, I stumbled across that mechanic by total accident when I accidentally deleted the jump keybind in the script :v.

And yeah, I didnt not have other people playtesting this time so the levels might have been too hard/unintuitive, especially lvl 3 and 7. Still, thanks a lot for playing!
