Game has a great feel, but dang it's hard! I liked the indicator arrows on the player and enemies, did wonders in helping with aiming the melee attack. Fun game!

Very fast. Holy I way to boomer to handle so much speed ^^. Very good job anyway, maybe with a more manageable speed I would have enjoyed it even more :)

This is the 2d version of dark souls lol

Well... that was brutal... I really wanted to beat this (now that I think about it I don't even know if there is a win condition), but after trying for way too long, I could not.

So here's some ideas to help make it less painful:

- Add health

- Make enemy bullets slower

- Make enemies not notice you as quickly

- Add randomness to the enemy's aim

- More range with melee attack

- Add some sort of warning before enemies shoot

Despite how difficult it is, I still enjoyed playing it (which is why I played it for so long)! So congrats on submitting your first jam game!

The movement was initially fast, but once I got used to it, it was fine. The game was deadly hard, but I completely understand. I don't know how many games I've made, not knowing how hard it would be for others. I like that you can melee as well as shoot. Nice job, especially for a first jam game!

That was tough, but I had fun. I like how the lanterns slow you down and we have the ability to shoot to disable them. Nice job!

fun challenging game. I really liked the art for the main character.

Great art and cool background music. It's a really hard game: a suggestion is to add a "health" to the player, instead of a one-shot kill. I think it would improve a lot with this small change.

Anyway good job!
