Your team did a great job. This doesn't feel like a jam game.

However, the game is quite heavy on the browser, but that it probably just me.

What an awesome game! the art and sounds are great, the mechanics can be a bit rough, but they work.

I can tell you worked really hard on the game, and I respect that you made it very comfortable, with all the accessibility options you added.

However, the map was a bit too big or spacious for a lack of a better word.

Thank you :) I am hoping to be a lot better in the future.

This is the 2d version of dark souls lol

Yeah, I remember the basement had only one tile.

But it's alright man, I imagine this is normal in a jam game.

I wish I had friends as good as the shaman

I rarely play text based games so this was novel and fun. Though it admittedly took me a while of blindly moving around before I figured things out.

However, I couldn't figure out how to reach the ending...I got stuck at interacting with a chest that told me there were more pressing matter to do, but I had checklisted everything other than the made-up sound and couldn't find anything else :(

It's a well done jam game, the wall jump and the last boss were cool :)

But it had some flaws:

The jump height was too big! it shouldn't make the camera no longer see the ground.

And restarting from level 1 was a bit annoying if the player died a lot like I did lol

Well since he's a guy who does rituals I thought his home should be a bit hidden and hard to reach :P

Glad you liked it, and thanks for feedback :)

It's a very good puzzle game. Except for the few bugs, it didn't feel like a jam game.

The game was short but it's very unique compared to rest of the games in this jam.

I really like reading novels and choice-based games, so I think it would be cool if you work further on this or something similar in the future.

Got a bit stressful at the end haha! I lost to one darn ghost who snuck through at just the last second >:(

It's a great little game. The look of the game is especially cool!

However, I don't know if it's because I am bad at the game, but the ghost dude was super fast when he detects you, and is able to quickly find you again even if you avoid once or twice so he caught me a lot lol.

Indeed. At the time I was too focused on making the flashlight match the animated movement and, in the end, I didn't want to scrap stuff and implement something from scratch lest I mess something up, even if it would have been easy in hindsight.

Thank you for the feedback :)

It's a good game! I got the bad ending for the poor assistant, but that's my fault for being curious lol

(1 edit)

It was super good. It's awesome how much you guys were able to do.

One thing that I disliked was that at some point the amount of the attacks and the randomness of it all made there be a bit too many things happening at the same time on the screen.

It was well done. I especially liked the unique look of the game.

It's a fun little game! but the inability to restart after death was really annoying.

It was very well done, fits the theme, fun to play and pleasing to the eye and ear.

However I kinda messed up by clicking the ESC button to try and pop out a setting menu and it just sent me to the start screen to start over :(, it also crashes if clicked again.

It's good! Almost thought there was an error in 1st level but it was just me being stupid.
