I like how this plays as both a platformer and a puzzle game although it's a little unforgiving.  For example if you mistime a double-jump at any point you basically need to restart the level.  However, I suppose if you respawned enemies the puzzle aspect of the game would be lost.

I managed to beat the first level with the full 20 coins (after a few tries) but the second level got the better of me.

The door opening effect is cool too, and I laughed at the intro when the "salesman" cursed me into becoming a hat.

Thank you so much for playing my game and I鈥檓 happy you enjoyed it!

I guess you are right about the difficulty of the game I think I made it a bit too unforgiving 馃槄馃槄

I hope you can finish all 5 levels 馃槄

I really wanted to make an animation for the intro and ending of the game but I didn鈥檛 have the time tho I鈥檓 happy you found the story amusing I was afraid that the wall of text would be too boring

Again thank you so much for playing my game 鉂わ笍

This was cool, good job! I like the idea of pickup enemies and tossing them around, that's a fun idea. The door transition is cool too, I've been doing basically the same thing in all my games, just with different sprites lol.

Including the controls in the description of the game would probably help a bit. Also, I might have just missed a mechanic, but I couldn't progress after the second enemy. It looks like there's more to the level, but I couldn't figure out how to get up that ledge. Again, I could have been missing something.

Overall, great job!

Thank you so much for playing the game and sorry for not adding a tutorial

for the second enemy you are able to double jump when holding the enemy

Hopefully in the coming jams I鈥檒l remember to make a tutorial for the game 馃槄馃槄

but again thank you so much, and your game looks pretty amazing!

Ah that makes sense, I knew I was missing something lol.  You can always write down the controls in the description of the game if you run out of time to put it in-game, even after submitting the game to the jam. And thank you!

Developer(+1)

oh cool I thought I鈥檓 not able to edit the description  after submitting

I鈥檒l go and add these to the description!

Thanks a lot 鉂わ笍

Anything pixel art gets points in my book! You have a good concept there, I wish I could go somewhere else after killing those little critters!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much I'm happy you liked the concept and the art

I couldn't make longer levels because of time but maybe in the future it could become its own full game

again thank you so much for playing the game!

Interesting premise and a neat gameplay mechanic, although I struggled to understand the mechanics in themselves. Maybe a tutorial would have been nice.

Still rather neat, good job

Developer

a tutorial was planned for the game but because of the short time I had I wasn't able to add it, I'm happy you enjoyed the game and thank you for playing it it means a lot to me
