Game felt laggy and couldn't get the controls to feel responsive. I decided to run into the darkness and it was hard to see. Maybe there should be more lightning to assist me in seeing my surroundings. Seems it has potential to be a fun game if the game ran more smooth.

I like the idea and the graphics, sound, and atmosphere are good, unfortunately (at least on my computer) the game was jerky and the controls really suffered. As others have mentioned a downloadable version would have helped.

Thank you for submitting - enjoyed killing those 244 ninjas!

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
We will include one, the next jam :D

Really cool game! Was able to get a score of 580. It was a lot of fun using the red slash ability on large groups of them! I really didn't understand when my E attack was available or how I could charge it though.

Congrats on your first GWJ entry!! :)

Thanks a lot!
Glad you had a good time fighting some ninjas :D

Totally agree, we run out of time to polish some of the game feedback, sound settings was also left in the backlog, along with some other crazy ideas.

Darn, the Yiga clan is sneaky. They've even found their way into a jam game!

This looks pretty neat, but I don't think I'm getting the full experience, as the game is running at about 10fps for me. I think Godot tends to run better on the desktop than in the browser, so for future games, it might be worth including a desktop build.

Hi, thanks!

Maybe you can try with a different explorer, we saw some cases in which the game did not run in Chrome, but it worked on Edge (there was something funny with that particular chrome installation).

We will include os builds next time, sounds good.
