love the gotchi coverage, gameplay bit of a boring, but its playable, nice
Very original idea, and good use of the theme. The controls were really confusing to me at first but not too bad after getting used to them
Great fun idea for the topic. Simple and playable, couldn't work out how to improve motivation, but it was fun playing and finding out about all the things Sam can do. Nicely done.
The game really brought me back to having a Tamagotchi as a kid. I like how you went all in with the aesthetics and buttons and came up with a great game. I took a much more obvious interpretation of the theme, and it's been cool to see how others have taken it in directions I never considered.
Well made game with beautiful lcd display graphics.
Cute and silly game! Definitely a good throwback to the Tomogachi era, and just like back then, I cant seem to keep them happy XD. The web build seems to auto start and took forever to load for me though, so might be helpful if it didn't auto start.
Cute game and a fun and unique take on the theme! I like that you added keyboard options for controls but I still wanted to be able to click with a mouse. Pixel graphics are well well done and it really does remind me of the Tamogachi. Your comment about Sam feeding himself and probably never dying is funny and a cute quirk to the game. Overall nice job and well executed!
Woohoo glad you like the buttons! I couldn't decide if they would be a gimmick or an aid to immersion. Maybe it's both lol. The thing about Sam feeding himself, yeah... I needed to sleep when I submitted this and I was trying to balance it, but didn't realize it's really hard to get the fail state now. On my end I've fixed it with a single line of code, but I can't add that to the jam unfortunately. Thanks for playing!
