I enjoyed that hammer-throw mechanic. Cool game. Nice work with the 3D assets too.
Really cool game! Great sound and looks, and super satisfying to get the throw right and chain as many hits as you can. Unfortunately I also ran into the issue where there weren't enough enemies to hit and progress. But really impressive overall!
This game is awesome! The graphics were incredibly peak; y'all used very few assets and were still able to capture that academic magic school vibe perfectly. The enemies, the sound, and the environment were perfectly chosen. Also that music, a bop~! I hope more people from the jam get to play this.
Amazing that you were able to make it in 3D. Excellent throwing mechanic - felt wonderful to throw backpack into the enemy :D Also, I really like that every time you start, your journey is a little bit different. Nice work!
Very cool concept and great to see a 3D game!
It seems like a skill based game and I got better the more I played. Great job!
Very love the core mechanic of it was very fun to catch the bag mid air and immediaty re-throw it with the same speed. Plus love the art style of it. When you get grasp of the control its very fun and feel like you improuve the more you play and master it !
Love the art style and the core mechanic! The bowser throw is always super satisfying.
Unfortunately there's some optimization issues that took away from my experience. The web version was super laggy, so I tried the downloaded version. Performance was improved, but still had significant lag during gameplay for some reason.
I was not able to play it to an appropriate standard, and thus I cannot fairly review this one. I'm sorry.
after the controls clicked i had fun spinning and bouncing my backpack off things! i played twice after the first time i ran into an issue where my first level didn't spawn enough enemies for me to progress. it might've been because i was playing the pink haired girl and didn't have enough power?
regardless, i really enjoyed the aesthetics and sounds of the game, nice work!!
It took me a little while to get used to the controls and the rules but after i got it down it was a blast to try to navigate around all the enemies while also worrying about where my backpack/cauldron was gonna land. my only gripe is i got to a level and killed all the enemies but no more spawned and i needed to defeat more to keep going.
