Your game was super cute! I really liked the idea of farming more and more crops and fighting against time to do it, but still being a chill farming game.

Your game was the first one to jump out to me, sadly couldn't load it for some reason (on Mac), however today I was able to, and finally play it.

I was able to give the monster all the noms :D

Loving the visuals, these are gorgeous and consistent. Also a fun twist on the farming simulator with a lot of potential. I have seen the list of all the planned things, that's a lot for the given time XD be kind to yourselfs, you did great.

My points of improvement would be: the chest did not give any feedback at all, a counter or a extra visual of it being more bulky would already help.

I am not sure about the harvesting after planting and full growth, this did not give any feedback (also the counter in the left corner didn't give feedback) and I am unsure if I was supposed to do this.

Looking forward to more from you two <3

This was a really cute game! I can see a lot of potential with where this can go.

A nice cozy farming experience, yes there's room to improve, but that's always the case. Keep building and learning, you're on a great start! Good job :)

Nice farm simulator. I wish to have more varieties of plants and maybe weather conditions, otherwise it feels too repetitive

It was really fun to see how you handled the farming mechanics. I have thought about attempting the genre but it always seems like so many moving parts. You definitely inspired to give it a shot. especially how you handle the all purpose E button, It nice that you can water plants, use the shovel, plant, and collect plants all based on what the tile needs. Super cool!

I would say the only thing that might be missing could be an outside force pressuring the player. Either a stamina system or just a simple timer progressing the crops instead of going back to the house. Once I figured the game out I felt like I could never lose, I was just going through the motions. Its a game jam though, I totally get it, there's always so much more that I wish I could have done. Great job!

It's OK! Pretty solid starting point for nice farming game :) The gameplay is too repetative for now, and the winning point is too far (you need to make SO MUCH ACTIONS TO WIN :O) for such gameplay ;( nice and intuitive inputs and nice graphics, though :)

This is a farming game. Plant crops one day, water crops for several more days, then pick them up and move them to the chest to fill the pink bar. If the pink bar completely fills, you win. Completely empty? You lose.

The incomplete nature of this project makes it hard to gauge how well it would do. With no music, I had no drive to continue playing after a short period of time.

I never got to figure out what the beast was supposed to be, I can only surmise that either the Chicken or the Cow was supposed to be it. The threat of the beast, being clear and present, is another route that could have been taken to drive a player forward.

The action button could also have been used for the chest. This, as well as indicating actionable objects other than the farmland, would provide a certain consistency for the control scheme. I do understand where you're coming from though, like "what else are you gonna do with that stuff?"

As bleak as things may seem, this is all part of the learning process. It may be wise to take a break and decide whether you'd like to continue with this project or move on from it.

Thank you for this feedback :)

Neat game! I really enjoyed the animations and art work - well done. I wish there was a clear indicator of the next day transition and game over screen, but from the other comments, it sounds like that just came down to time. Excited to see what you all come up with next!

Thanks!

I got the best ending :D

Cool little game. I really liked the assets, everything looks beautiful and very organic.

There are a lot of things that might be improved, like adding audio, changing the beast, a transition to the next day, etc.

But it looks like that you know what you're doing and you just didn't have enough time to implement those.

Thanks for the game, I hope the beast is happy

Developer

Thank you very much! You are right, we had some of that on our to-do list, but we didn't have enough time.

Thanks for playing :D

wish you luck with your projects! Farming games are cool :3 And there's so much potential about feeding a beast, even if you need to make it more than once. It's maybe the island where new beast is born every N days and you need to defend your village by feeding them.. or something :D

Nice concept. But I can't seem to change between the wheat and the eggplant seed. I don't know whether this is a bug or intentional.

Developer

Hi, I forgot to specify that in the "how to play" section

Its: 1,2 - switch between plant type

Anyway, thanks for playing :D
