A very beautiful and atmospheric game!!!

There are still difficulties here and there with the Y-Sort ^^, but that's not a problem!

But please change it later so that you can walk through these fireflies when they accompany you, that's a little annoying :)

Very nice game, it was interesting to play, it looks great, but I stuck couple of times so I had to restart the game

Stunning visuals!

Thanks for playing :)

The vibes are immaculate, the artwork is gorgeous and evocative, the music is lovely and melancholy. The fireflies are a super clever way to help show where you haven't been yet (although I do think you shouldn't be able to collide with them, they start to get in the way after awhile, but obviously you want to grow your adorable little train).

I managed everything but the 4x4 puzzle and couldn't solve it after at least 15-20 mins, which is a bit frustrating because I wanted to see the end! I'm not a big puzzle game person though, so maybe it would be intuitive to someone else.

Thank you so much for playing! Love the feedback. The fireflies colliding is a bug I introduced when I last second decided to change how my physics work for them D: I didn't have time to fix it sadly. The last puzzle is incredibly hard unless you get a lucky seed, I'll admit. Still I'm really glad you enjoyed it apart from that and I appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment.

The fireflies were a bug, you say? XD

Definitely worth playing, love how you managed to world-build in a small space.

Wowza~! The visuals for your game are incredibly strong! The whole vibe and aesthetic is just..."chef's kiss."

The only feedback I could really give is mainly about gameplay:

  • Going in, I wasn't entirely sure what mechanically I had to do to restore light to the world. Didn't realize you could interact with crystals or with torches to light up the library.
  • My little green gremlins kept pushing me and trapping me into walls and corners. When I first started, I thought they were enemies since they kept stopping me from moving.
  • Additionally, I'm not that much of a puzzle guy. Imo, the 4x4 was really hard and I was too dumb to figure it out. Spent 30 minutes on it and was really hoping to finish it so I could see the end.

Either way, this was incredibly cool to play. Congrats on your first GWJ~!

Thank you so much for playing! Apologies about the bug with the fireflies and the incredible hard puzzle at the end :( I'm glad you still enjoyed it though :D

Looks amazing and I especially like the ambience.  It has a very soothing vibe.

However I got stuck in a wall. Will try again.

Developer

Darn, sorry...glad you enjoy the vibes. Thank you for playing.

Is it possible that the 4x4 puzzle is unsolvable?

Developer

The puzzle is solvable, but only if you get a really lucky seed for the random generation I found out. I thought increasing the rows and columns by 1 wouldn't make it that much harder, but I guess I was wrong. I'm sorry if that made the experience frustrating for you. :(

no worries! The game was still absolutely stunning to look at :)

very pretty looking  game, not really sure what im supposed to be doing though

Definitely could have hinted at the gameplay more. Also, it probably would have been nice to have a brief tutorial for the puzzles. Nonetheless thank you for playing!
