Cool game :D The smooth animations and the simple yet effective pixel art creates a coherent sense of style that works well and the witty dialogue is half the reason you continue playing the game. I would've liked maybe a bit more creative platform design, and introduce one or two more mechanics, but that's me being nitpicky. Overall great submission :D
Overall nice platformer! and it has a story! with talking!
I really like how the shirt lifts when you fall, it's a nice detail. I also liked the music loop (for the first ~5 minutes).
I got lost after consuming the 4th orb - there was some kind of room after it but I got no dialogue and didn't know where to go next :S
Checkpoints and coyote time would be very much appreciated!
Heyyy I share the same name as the protagonist, lets gooo!
So, I like the art in the game, and the character animations are very smooth, but an extra animation or two for Josh (like a jump animation) would have really made the animation feel fluid and polished.
Eye bot is the goat, and I quite like the plot of the game. There were a few grammar errors here and there in the text though.
Also what is with Josh's attitude? Bruv is acting like he didn't cause the season generators to go out of control in the first place. He's letting down all the Josh's across the world right now smh.
Before reaching the final generator I spent awhile trying to debate if the lights on the bottom of the platforms looked like tongues or nipples, and I settled on tongues.
The season transitions are cool, I like that!
Overall good game, though the theme in it isn't very strong, but other than a few flaws here and there I quite enjoyed it! Would Josh again / 10.
Thanks a lot, really cool you guys have the same name. I tried to get around for adding more animations but just ran out of time. Ya those lights were a one and done thing. I kind of forgot about them at the end. Thanks I based Josh off of one of my friends and it's sounds like I nailed it 👍
