Credits Song for My Death is royalty free?

The game is very simple and I was a little confused on what I was supposed to do, but I dig the aesthetics and appreciate what you were going for.

The abrupt music cuts really caught me off guard, though. A quick tip for that: you can use a lowpass filter on your music bus and decrease its cutoff frequency (or just enable it) when the upgrade screen shows up to create a muffled effect. I recommend taking a look at Godot's AudioServer documentation.

Overall, good entry. You did a nice job :)

The original Credit Song for My death isn't, but I'm using the "but I'm the final boss" remix by Astron, and this one is free to use in non commercial projects !

I wish I had a bit more time and motivation for this jam, I barely touched the audio aspect and focused on polishing the rest. Thanks for your feedback and glad you liked the aesthetic ! :)

That is strange. I thought a remix of a song with royalties would also be subject to the same royalties. Anyways, I love this remix, it slaps

I hope you participate on the next jam and get more time, really liked what I saw here :)

I too had issues with screen size making the playing more difficult for me personally. I found trying to find strategies to deal with things as the rounds progressed a fun challenge!

Very original implementation of the "Perspective" wildcard, as well as the mirroring of your stats onto your next opponent. It was interesting to master aiming in 3rd person, from a displaced angle. Banger tracks for music, really adds to the tempo of the game.

Perhaps of pausing the music abruptly, it can be dimmed down during upgrades choice. The game would benefit from having a full screen mode! It's currently quite small on browser.

Oh yeah mb on the fullscreen option, when Itested it on my machine, a gigantic window opened so I guessed it was fine... Will probably fix that after voting end !

Interesting premise but the fact that you don't control when your shots fire seems to clash with the dimension switching aspect. You could still have had a rechange but give the player the choice to release. Also the game itself does not tell you that dimension switching leaves the projectiles behind.
