Game Description
As the midnight assassin it is your mission to infiltrate a castle and eliminate the King who resides within. Stealth is your ally and light is your enemy so be careful!

How does your game tie into the theme?
The game uses torches that light up areas of the castle. You must either avoid or destroy these torches to stay in the dark, because you cannot risk being seen in the light by the enemies.

Love, love, love the concept of this game! I was unable to figure out how to progress to the next screen / level. The game screen was too big for my window and I lost a bit off each side so maybe I just could not see the path.

Solid game, I liked it! There was a weird quirk with the controls which made them behave in a way I don't think is expected. If I was holding right, then pressed up, I would change directions from right to up. If I was holding up, then pressed right, I would continue holding right. I would personally prefer changing direction to the newly pressed direction, but more importantly this should be consistent. Also, the way the sword sprite was positioned, and by extension its hitbox, felt awkward to me. It only covered a portion of the area in front of the ninja, so sometimes it would miss the things I was aiming for when I turned.

I like that the theme was clearly used on this one, because some of the entries I rated didn't have that going on. I also liked the music. Good job :)

Fun game! Like the other comment said respawning at the current level would have been nice as it took me a few tries, but I had fun. Liked mechanics and utilizing throws. Good job!

Great work, and an interesting way of taking the theme

I like it but it would be nice if getting caught would respawn you in the current level instead of the very beginning.
