How does your game tie into the theme?
We tried to reduce the scope of our game to the maximum to actually finish this time. So it's just about climbing up a tower.

please don't be discouraged even if you had to reduce your scope a lot! learning what you can and can't do given a certain period of time is part of the learning process. this is in a pretty rough state, but i hope you keep at it!

I'm seeing the camera bug too - hopefully you get a chance to fix it, I like what I can see of the art style

Hi!
Thanks a lot for your review.
I actually have no idea of what is causing the bug.
I think the game is hard coded in 1080p so when it opens in Itch.IO instead of a new window (like on my computer), the ratio is wrong and the camera goes crazy.

Sadly I can't fix it for now. But I'll search for a solution for the next game!

thx again

i think the camera is bugged so it had a weird placement, unfortunately i wasn't able to get much gameplay in :( very nice artstyle and animation though! looks like it would've been a fun game

The 2D art looks great! It has a cool storybook illustration feeling to it.

When I press Start Game, however, the camera doesn't lock onto the player and instead is far above it. I managed to (I think) make a few jumps by chance but quickly got stuck without being able to see the character.

Either way, wonderful art direction!
