That was fun. I wish I could understand what different equipment does :))) Is there a difference between wearing a teddy bear and wearing a jug of beer? The art is super fun and perfectly creates the atmosphere. Special thanks for the story!
Thanks! The items do have different effects, but they aren't balanced and we weren't able to get the UI done that would communicate the differences. We're working on updating the game to add that in
This game is super pretty, I loved every visual I saw ! The goblins are cute and seeing them wearing the different weapons/armors is really fun. The gameplay was lacking some explanations, I couldn't really see if the equipments I gave were good or not but I loved the ideas of items going for armor or weapon by your choice, and the start made by choosing randomly is a fun start. Really enjoyed it and could play if it is developped further, good job !
Appreciate the kinds words, and we absolutely want to show what the items do (and in general develop things further). Part of the reason what the items do is unclear was because we ran out of time to fully develop what they do but that is first on our list for the next update. Thank you for playing!
Glad to know that, I'm waiting for the next update :)
I Love the art! I like that a goblin can wear whatever! And I really like the voice acting!
On a side note, after I lost I tried to play again, but couldn’t ever get past the first floor.
thank you for playing and your feedback! I thought I fixed the restart bug, but will need to look into that again. If you refresh the browser that would allow you to play again, but recognize that isn’t how you should have to restart.
Nice soundtrack
It’s so nice that you dubbed the game.
It would be nice if there were some indication of what each card does.
Thank you for playing our game and 100% agree we need to share what the items do. Hoping to make an update soon that addresses that and the worst of the initial bugs. Appreciate the feedback!
OMG the goblins. Lotta submissions featuring goblins. weird.
The art was so cute and the dress-up combos were fun to explore. That's 24 different graphics! Wow
I enjoyed the opening narration and the voiced sound effects in general. I don't know, it's just so charming. Nice Conan reference btw
Thanks for trying our game. That was indeed a Conan reference.
Loved the art, and the game was nicely polished!
Thank you for the kind words!
unsure if the items all do the same thing, or if they have unique effects. if they do, it seems pretty important to me that those effects are front and center in your gameplay. it seems like there was a bigger emphasis on the combinations of clothing the goblins can have, which all look really cute. i think there's great ideas here all-in-all, but i would've loved just a bit more substance gameplay-wise, especially with a concept this expandable. plus, (not sure if this is a web version bug), no music was playing for me. still, i liked this a lot. good job on this! please consider trying my game as well!
Thanks for the feedback. There were plans to add a rock paper scissors style element as well as more obvious status effects. The idea was that you would want to equip your goblins before every fight assuming you had collected the resources. Unfortunately the first part was cut and the status effects were hidden as we found a couple show stopper bugs on the last day that took our programmer's time.
Had some fun playing through the game and finding different combinations. But this by-far has to be my favourite!
So glad to hear you had fun! Dressing up the goblins was definitely one of the highlights for us. Thank you for playing!
Nice style! It's a fun take on an auto battler with an interesting spin on the equipment system. Like others mentioned, I got into an "endless missing" situation but had fun until that point!
thank you for playing our game and the feedback! We absolutely want to fix the soft lock/constant missing and show what items do to add an element of strategy to combat.
Funny autobattler, but i had no clue what i was doing and what item did what :D
In the end I was in an endless battle where every side was always missing and the restart combat button just vanished after clicking and nothing happened
thank you for playing our game! First update we want to make is display stats of the items (and fix the soft lock of endless missing) The combat button was a last minute attempt to get around a bug (actually unrelated to the endless missing). Thank you for the feedback!
Amazing art style which fits so nicely to the game theme. I found the equip page very fun with different head/hand combinations for items. I think adding strength indication to each item would be nice for the future as I would equip the goblins based on the looks and then get completely destroyed on the battlefield haha. However very nice and simple game, I enjoyed:)
So glad you enjoyed the Art! We really think that was one of the strengths of the project. We for sure want to add what the items do and a serious pass at balancing/progression. Thank you for the feedback.
Excellent artistic direction and a really cool concept. I love the idea of the goblins using any junk they find. The equipping section is very cool and I love how each piece looks in each different slot.
It would've been nice to know what each piece of rubbish does and how it affects in the two different slots. Sadly I got softlocked on my playthrough being stuck in an endless cycle of missing one another.
Really glad you enjoyed the equipping section! We joked we really just made a dress up sim since that was the most fun part of the game. Our first update we want to show what the items do (and fix the balancing, soft lock issue with endless missing) and think that showing the strategies possible will make the combat feel more satisfying too.
Thank you for your feedback!
The art is amazing, and I love how equipping items has an illustration for each combination.
thank you for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed it!
I really like the art! I got stuck in a loop where me and the enemies kept missing eachother, but honestly it's fun watching them hang out.
Thank you for the feedback and playing! We discovered that bug too late to change. Hoping to get a fix out after the ratings for it. Glad you had fun watching them play
Cool concept! The game itself is very simple, but the implementation is very well done. I wish I knew the stats of my equipment and the enemy's strength! Good game, peeps, I had fun!
thank you for playing and the feedback. Showing stats at what the items do fell out of scope but hoping to get an update out soon that has them included!
nice artstyle!
thank you!
