Game Description
Builder/ghost huner Greg gets hired to deal with some spooky spectres in Wispwillo Manor

How does your game tie into the theme?
My game ties into the theme by immersing players in a haunted mansion where they must confront and defeat malevolent (and cute) ghosts that roam the eerie halls. Through solving intricate puzzles, players uncover the dark history of the mansion and free it from the lingering supernatural forces.

Really like the intro and that Selene just kept referring to him as Mr. Pots, cause it's clearly the same person. I would have loved some kind of indicator of my health, or maybe there was one and I just didn't see it.

I enjoy this game's concept a lot! The boss was a little difficult with the flying stuff but luckily i was able to win. I finished the puzzle and it was quite rewarding, although I didn't even know i solved it until I went through the door to the next room.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! and it's cool to hear you beat the boss even tho he is a bit tough with some hard (maybe impossible to dodge) attacks.

I think the first room's puzzle might be bugged? As it stands, they would all light up but I could not leave the room through any doors at all.

Thank you for the feedback :)

Yes, you’re right. I’m realising that the areas to interact with the statues are too big and if you are standing a little too close to two of them it breaks the puzzle :/

It's okay! There's a hard to reproduce similar bug in my game, but I think only I have found it. It happens!

I'll give the game another shot and try to be really careful about where I stand.

Nice exposition and puzzles, it was overall fun to play. One thing I would've like to see it some kind of an indication that I can interact with an object. Maybe a little text appearing, because I was looking around smashing E to find stuff to interact with.

There was surprisingly little lore in the game after the intro, I expected to find some dirty secrets or explanation on what the big onion is. Or maybe there were and I did not find them. I could not find anything upstairs, did I miss it?

I'm glad it was fun overall and I really appreciate the feedback! I'll definitely add clearer indicators for interactable objects and expand on the lore after the game jam voting ends. You didn’t miss anything upstairs—there’s just not much there yet, but I'll be updating that too. I also want to improve the the boss fight (currently working on the moves). All the missing parts came down to a little old time management on my part.

Anyway, thanks again for playing!

Great, I'd like to check out once there's an updated version!

Really liked the writing in the dialog, the intro helps to set the mood for the game, the black and white artstyle is fitting very well. Sadly I was not able to advance past the first room, I managed to light up all the eyes of the statues, but the door remains locked. Is there something I am missing?

Developer

Thank you for your  comment and feedback! There’s a riddle that goes with the statues. Top right is a purple book you can interact with. The statues need to be turned on in a particular order. Thereafter the two doors at the bottom can be walked through. I wanted to give more visual queues but ran out of time :,)
