I like the concept, but the eyesight debuff in particular was rather frustrating. My very first customer had bad eyesight and the blindness dot landed right over the text, so I couldn't tell what anyone wanted. Very interesting use of the theme, though, so I think there's some real promise here!
+100 for the mystery button
In retrospect the blindness should not have been as extreme as it is currently. Thanks for playing!
Had a really fun time with this one! The black spots on the screen really made me chuckle. Very nice job!
This was a really interesting take on the theme! Reminded me of don't feed the monkeys.
Getting the afflictions you cure is interesting but I couldn't figure out how to remove them.
And the mystery menu button was pretty funny
Thank you! I haven't heard of that game, I will definitely check it out. Removing the afflictions requires doing the health for wealth ritual and then it's a random chance for which effect is healed. It is a bit more obtuse than we had hoped for it to be.
Great take on the exchange wildcard, it ties so well into the flavor and theme of the game. Though it felt unequal when I got glaucoma RIGHT over the book that told me how to cure it :)
All in all, a fun take on the job-simulation-puzzle game with good art and sound design that adds up to an accurate summary of life in New Jersey.
Thank you! It's the luck of the draw with the glaucoma.
