Very nice first entry, well done!
Nice first entry! Fun and mostly functional. Could really use audio, and the game appears to crash once the player dies, but the gameplay mechanics are fundamentally solid and it's a good start.
I like how the sprites blend in to form a consistent art vision. They look pretty good! The lack of sound is a bit sad.
The linux version works fine. Simple mechanics that all come together to make a good game. The pixel art is great. I know it's a game jam game but it could use a bit more variety to keep it interesting.
Overall this is one of the most solid games I've played so far.
Hard to play on my laptop touchpad, and the boost was so laughably tiny I don't think the ship moved at all. This is because my computer is running your game at like 1000fps and you need to use the delta value in your _process() function. Otherwise the game looks okay.
Oh okay thanks XD
Windows build, crashed on me when I died. :S I kept making me want to try and escape, pretty solid gameplay!
The mechanics are simple, and efficient. Although it becomes quickly repetitive.
The game looks quite good, with a lot of nice visual feedbacks. Good job! :)
Pixel art is nice, but the lack of sound is a shame. What's missing here is a lack of progression; an arcade-style game like this should get harder as it progresses, so that the player can't just settle into a rhythm.
Your windows build is missing the .pck file.
I updated the windows build and included the .pck file. Sorry for the inconvenience.
