There doesn't seem to be an .exe to make the game run with.
Hi Jupiter,
I admit I had some trouble exporting during the jam. I think I might have gotten it this time! Please let me know. I also added an explainer popup to show how to fly around, as it is not that intuitive.
I'll be honest. Tl;dr that wikipedia article about balloons :) But with trial-error approach I managed to make it to the fourth circle before birds destroyed my balloon. I like games where I can learn something new, I will come back to this article for sure after playing. Also visuals was very nice.
weird, what version of Godot do you hab
I can't run it from the itch.io app!
Love that you did 3d! And the idea is very good! If only the steering were less finicky. Oh and some sound would be great too!
Played in Linux (...x86_64 binary plus .pck file) and it worked fine.
The mines seemed static, despite my attempts to both collide with them and use the flamethrower on them. That's some crazy wind, but propeling the baloon with a flamethrower was nice.
I think I failed on explaining the movement system. You steer by changing altitude, and wind direction changes in a clockwise direction with altitude (this is actually how you steer hot air balloons)!
The little flag at the top of the balloon points in the direction of your current wind.
The big floating green arrow pointa to the next gate.
Sadly the flamethrower does not influence your position..
Well today I learned something new. So that's why the wind direction kept rotating.
Would really want to try the game, but Windows download does not contain what it should be. There must be .exe and .pck.
Couldn't get the appx to work
Oh, sorry about that. I don't have windows to test one, but I will try to re-export.
The source project can also be run.
I will check it out soon!
