I'm surprised by how fun the gameplay loop was. The dungeon design in both first-person and third-person views reminded me of old 8-bit dungeon crawlers. It was really authentic feeling. There was a lot of motivation to switch between views with the battery draining feature, as well. A unique stealth system that would definitely be worthy of cutscenes gluing levels together.

My two cents for improvements. Make the alert sound less frequent or less high-pitched. Make the third-person view drain the battery slower. Separate things into levels with cutscenes, perhaps?

Nice game and on theme.
When going through the game I just felt that it needed something more to make it more engaging.

You had the scanners that forced you to go into top down view, but there should have also been something that forced you to go into first person view. For example a puzzle on the wall, or some kind of things that moved up and down so you had to shot it down on first person view.

Overall a great entry, had a good time playing it and actually finished it. :)

That was actually the original plan but I couldn't figure out sprite drawing in time. The 3D view is hand coded to be made by raycasting and unfortunately Godot really doesn't accommodate working that close to the pixel level without the compute shaders. Glad you enjoyed!

Nice game, really cool idea the change between 2D and 3D, maybe do some adjust in the sound, the rest is nice, i complete the game by the way and was really cool to complete it x3.

Yoooo! the raycast dual perspective is pretty neat! I didn't find much use for the first person till I read in the comments about how it didn't drain battery (Which I think makes for great design), had that been explained in game or somewhere on the pageI think It would have made for a better experience. I went back then beat the game! It would be really cool to see a dash button that eats up a ton of your energy with the tradeoff of moving faster, I think that would have been nice. Alert sound jumpscare / 10

Nice game, well done! The music was very cool!

cool game! however, volume adjustment is needed and somehow the first-person view is not clear what advantages it provides

The first person view doesn't drain battery. In older builds the battery drained much quicker but I was trying to make the game a bit easier and guess I over corrected. What issue are you having with the audio levels is it too quiet, loud, or is some mixing off? It sounds fine on my devices but that's always the fun of these web builds

loud and I still haven’t found where I can adjust the volume...
