That was actually the original plan but I couldn't figure out sprite drawing in time. The 3D view is hand coded to be made by raycasting and unfortunately Godot really doesn't accommodate working that close to the pixel level without the compute shaders. Glad you enjoyed!

They look sick so well done! Starting to think I really need to crack down on learning shaders

Definitely the coolest looking game I've seen so far! I'm always a huge fan of weird 3D games so I loved this. I am curious did you use a shader to restrict the color palette or was everything textured like that?

The first person view doesn't drain battery. In older builds the battery drained much quicker but I was trying to make the game a bit easier and guess I over corrected. What issue are you having with the audio levels is it too quiet, loud, or is some mixing off? It sounds fine on my devices but that's always the fun of these web builds

The flying part reminds me a lot of the game Power of Ten, which is to say I think this is an awesome idea!

Game looks sick! I was a bit unsure of the mechanics so I didn't make it very far but the visuals really stood out!

Loved it! I feel like it could be a whole game on it's own

Cute game! I enjoyed playing through their little story, and despite saying you weren't pixel artists I think you did great! I did have issues with the audio coming through super crackly, I haven't had that with any other games so far so I thought I'd let you know. I'm playing in browser on Firefox if that's any help

Cool idea! I really like that you went for two points of view technically on the same side, but not exactly allies either. My main point of criticism would be the movement, I think since everything is on a grid, some sort of grid style movement would work better. Great game and I would love to see more of it!

This is definitely the most creative game I've played so far! I love the portal-esque design philosophy and for being a 3D physics based game jam entry, I'm really surprised that I didn't encounter any major physics glitches, so great job on whatever wizardry that took! My only complaint is that the music got quite repetitive, but that's not to say the song was bad, rather it would just sometimes take me a moment on the puzzles which would mean I heard the song loop a lot. Great work everyone involved!

Really fun idea! The art is adorable and the gameplay is satisfying. The respawn points could be a bit brutal though

Loved this! Really reminded me of A Bonte Escape in the best way. Great work and really clever puzzles!

By far my favorite game in the jam! Actually fun and scary!

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to do that. It didn't even occur to me during development that that was an option because I was so used to just walking through

Scariest game in the jam. I won't be sleeping for days

Liked it a lot! By far the scariest I've played so far

Very cool idea! I could definitely see getting some real good scares out of it

Huh, okay well real spoilers the pattern is kinda like this for how many times each smiley needs bumped

1

           3                 3

2                                     1

                    0

Very fun! Got spooked. The line following the player is very handy, props for adding that

Did you have it oriented correctly using the bed in the corner as the smiley off in the distance?

Spoiler warning:

The smiley faces correspond with the furniture in the bedroom

Hello everyone! I'm a programmer and musician working primarily in Godot. You don't need to understand Godot to join. I'm in EST and would prefer to work over Discord. I'm hoping to make something a bit more surreal so if that's your jam be sure to shoot me a message at minibotco on Discord. Best of luck!

Really fun game, great use of the mechanics!

Fun game! Pretty challenging at times, as a rougelike should be

Good fun!

Really enjoyable, not sure if I solved any platforming challenges correctly but I think that's part of the fun for a game like this. Great job!

Very fun! I like how it encourages you to strategize with your past self. Great game!

Quite fun! Controls were intuitive and object hitboxes were predictable. Good job! I also loved the menu

The square root of -1 hasn't been this exciting in a while

Fun little puzzle!

A nice arcade style game, only complaint I have is that once everything starts moving really quick it can be hard to hit it when you click. Otherwise good fun

I loved ducking in and out of houses trying to find the actual bandit, however the game quickly became random chance. Overall quite fun, the mechanics worked well and I quite liked watching the fake bandits fly through the air

Wonderful, a really good job was done working through the mechanics of the game without making it overwhelming. The jump sound is enough to make me like this game on its own, the fact that I had a lot of fun is the cherry on top.

I appreciate the effort put into have actual flags but in the wrong shape. Fun challenge!

I stood in the corner for a while after it vanished in pure terror. A rather chilling experience ;)

In retrospect I should've included the line-of-sight as part of the tutorial in the menu. Maybe once the jam is over I'll update that.

Maybe the street lamp can shine some light on the problem.

I have learned that car golfing should in fact be a real sport. The controls were easy to get down, though judging the distance of a shot could be hard. The game looks neat and watching the car get destroyed as you golf is a cool feature. The music could become annoying after a little, though it's harsh nature fit the game quite well. I enjoyed Car & Driver and there really isn't much to complain about.
