Really nice work on the art and game mechanics. I like the idea of having 2 forms and managing your blood as the currency to use the powerful one. Maybe you didn't space things out as much because it's just a demo, but it would be good to introduce the mechanics more slowly and having a immediate use after the explanation to help the player learn them. Overall, congrats! Really like to play it.
The concept is nice and a good foundation for a larger game, the visuals are fine but the lack of sound feels a bit off. Don't know if it crashed or it ends abruptly after finishing the brother level, but that's the last I saw from the game. Anyway, a good entry, congrats!
Yea I'm not really a sound design person so I didn't really have time to add music and sfx while working solo. I am looking for and audio person to work with when I continue this project though! Thanks so much for the feedback!
The tutorial was a little disruptive to figuring things out, and I never seemed to heal back up in vampire mode. Decent demo, I'd be curious to see how the mechanics feel with more room to play.
Yea I'll def look into that when I continue the project! Thanks for the feedback!
I like the purple aesthetic! The text that popped up felt kind of disrupting at times, since it popped up without any cues and restricted movement. Moving the character around felt nice and I enjoyed the squash and stretch effects.
Thanks for your feedback! Yea I do feel like the dialogue was a bit too disrupting
