Simple mechanic, just needs some polish.
I would consider:
Good concept. Simple art style. Good job.
I will look into these ideas
Thanks for the input!
Concept is solid. I do like the idea of this on a mobile device. Way more difficult than I would have imagined.
Great concept, I see some progress since the proto! I would make the level start once the player hits a key and add some parallax layers somehow so the player feels the scrolling easier. It feels a bit laggy on the web from time to time, and that for this kind of game, is the difference between finishing a level or rage quitting. Good job, congrats on your entry!
I got a few comments saying the same thing you're saying
Thanks for playing!
>What was the most frustrating moment or aspect?
Just figuring out how to getting started is very frustrating, but I assume that's the point? I'm assuming this is a rage-game of flappy bird with a gun.
>What was your favorite moment or aspect?
Getting partially through the first level was nice.
>Was there anything you wanted to do, but couldn't?
I wanted to finish the first level.
>If you could change, add, or remove any 1 thing, what would it be?
I would either start with a pause or remake the movement to apply momentum in response to player action instead of automatically. That way, so long as the player must press the correct input to start moving in any given level, they're left feeling more in control and potentially more invested. Thanks for the feedback!
I'm going to lower the gravity, so its easier and more sensitive to input.
Congrats on the entry :)
I really liked the overall idea of the game, and I think it has great potential!
One constructive feedback I could give is that it took me a great while to get the hang of the game. For a while, I didn't even figure out that the map was scrollable.
This could be solved maybe by making the start easier? Or gravity weaker?
Nevertheless, really liked the game, great job!
Hey!
Thanks you!
And thanks for the feedback,
I'll add a delay to the start and maybe try making the gravity weaker.
Thanks again!
