Lol, I didn't expect to be so speedy... its a cute little game. I thought it was broken at first because I couldn't seem to dismiss the instruction screen. You might want to make a clear way to do that. I look forward to playing the next version :)
Thank you, yea it's just on a timer for now to make the game playable, I added it very quickly haha I will be sure to add a click to start that will dismiss them.
I like your art and I love the dog companion; however as soon as I left the started area the frame rate plunged and it was pretty unplayable as I kept passing the enemies. I hope you get this fixed as I'm really looking forward to replaying this in the next sprint.
Thank you! Most of the art is from asset packs btw, but I am looking to fix that issue with the pathfinding, you probably shouldn't run past every enemy though haha
I wasn't trying to. It was more so a result of the frame rate being so low that your moving about 100 to 200 pixels per cycle.
I see, yea it may vary depending on your PC I suppose, for me when testing the extent of the issue I took aggroing almost the entire map of enemies before it got so bad my framerate dropped. I'll keep in mind I need to try and optimize it even more. Thanks for the feedback!
Really cool so far. Started to chug a bit, but seemed stop as I killed the enemies. Maybe hammering pathfinding too hard or something? Keen to see what gets added.

Game is super pretty! The gameplay is pretty smooth! Though it ends pretty quickly I'd love to see more waves and if some sprites had directional turning it'd go a long way! Great work definitely see potential in this
