This aesthetic feel and presentation is really professional. It is laggy on WebGL so I like how you have another option to play and download the game. :)
Thank you!! Yeah, I apologize for the lag, but I am glad you were able to download the game :3
The presentation in this game is something else. The level has very cinematic pacing and an excellent introduction to your mechanics. It's a bit laggy on the WebGL version but the windows build works fine. Keep making amazing games!
Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you used the Windows build :D
First of all, congratulations on submitting such a polished prototype. This game idea has crazy potential. Without a doubt, it inspires me to think of more "paint" to create more puzzles and interactions. Any game idea that encourages that type of thinking is a great start!
I love the aesthetic. I love the sounds. I love how the world moves cleanly from Greyscale to Chroma. I love the functional puzzle design. The dialogue / inner monologue is excellent and appropriate. Great technical details like a seamless save/respawn system.
My only feedback is that it's hard to determine that the project is "on theme". I get the idea of renewing the colors, but really it's more about playing the game which happens to coincidentally change colors!
Excellent project!
Thank you so much! Really appreciate the feedback! I was originally intending to make each level have a color changing aspect, but dropped this due to approaching the deadline. If I continue to work on this, I will definitely want to emphasize that concept.
Hey, I thought this was a great game! The presentation in the beginning looks very professional and the tutorial feels natural. After obtaining the paint gun, however, the game was frequently interrupted with long freezes. I would guess that this has to do with it being too intensive to render all the hexagon objects, as it only happens when I move too quickly. It's a shame because I was looking forward to seeing where this game was going. I hope that this can be fixed soon.
I see. I didn't have much time to test the WebGL build. I will make a windows build for that, and I'll also look into fixing the performance on WebGL. Thanks for bringing to my attention!
Alright, windows build is on there now. I hope this works better for you :D
Also hopefully improved the lag on the WebGL build. It should be better, but let me know if it isn't :)
