(1) Can a game still win without a battle system? I ask this because I am planning to make a visual novel RPG using RPG Maker MV. I hope you consider story based game.

(2) The submission should be in windows PC?

(3) Should it be a complete game?

Hope you give me some answers before I start this game jam. Thank you 馃檹

Hi!
1) Battle system is not a requirement. But can it win? Depends on voters!

2) Windows PC is most common platform, but there鈥檚 no hard rule against others. It just may not be playable by as many people. You can do multiples platforms if you really want.

3) Doesn鈥檛 have to be a complete game, but I would suggest some sort of story arc that completes.

I am not an admin, but I think it would be wisest to deploy your project to Windows at a minimum, and web if possible. Since players will be given 3 random games to evaluate, we don't know what operating systems those players will be on; speaking from experience, deploying to web gets the widest player base and virtually guarantees that your project will be playable by everyone.

I think KV makes some good points.

I was wondering if my game could be an origin story for Harold. The story ended up that way as I developed it.
