While this uses copywritten stuff, it's NOT assets as in from a video game, so it is sort of a gray area. The rule as it was written was to avoid theft from video games and this one was really, really clever. So I'm going to allow it to remain in the jam, but if enough people come to me with issues, it may get disqualified.

That said, I really did enjoy the humor of this one. Very short and sweet, but easy to play and actually had a decent little story to the whole thing. Not bad at all!

Thanks for the feedback! I just had the chance to watch your stream and I really loved your comments on the game while you played it.

I apologize for causing any sort of judging complications - I didn’t intend to break the rules. I just stumbled upon the old cereal commercials and I fell in love with the idea of using them in a game.

I shat my pants.

Very funny, the fact that the evil cereal isn´t the granola but the sugary clown one was definitely a twist. I did however, encounter two glitches, the first one was in the store in the web version, the game just wouldn´t let me leave the money on the counter, making it impossible to advance so I downloaded the game, then in that version when I tried to serve the cereal the second time, I tried to pick up the frying pan after picking up the cereal, which made it impossible for me to serve the cereal and had to restart again because the continue button on the main menu didn´t work for me.

I´m also confused because in the web version there is a whole sequence inside the store that didn´t happen to me in the downloaded version on both of the two playthroughs that I completed. I don´t know what´s up with that.

I did laugh a lot and would´ve probably enjoyed it even more if I didn´t encounter so many glitches that forced me to restart.

Did switching items with the mouse scroll wheel or ‘Q’ not work either?

And yeah I’ve noticed that level skip issue in the windows version before. I’ll have a fix once I’m back at my PC.

But thanks for playing and taking the time to comment!

This was absolutely hilarious. I wasn't sure what I expected but this made me laugh so hard. Thank you so much for making this. I think my only issue was figuring out the controls for switching items and attacking, but once I got the hang of it, I was READY! Sadly, I couldn't beat the game no matter how hard I swung my weapon, but I also am not sure if it's possible to win. I ALMOST got to the store again and there were just too many!

Definitely one of my favorites, and although there were no jumpscares at all, the game was just enough that I was uneasy throughout the whole thing. My last parting words? "Sir, your mother might be addicted to cereal, good sir."

I thought it would have a boring typical horror ending but after smacking countless amount of female clowns I think it's worth a good rating.

I feel like this game was made especially for me. I'm scared of clowns and cereal! Overall, quite fun!

Interesting story and fun scares! Liked the last part when being hunted by all the clowns!
