Probably my favorite entry in the jam! With so little time in the jam its really impressive how much mechanical and systems depth you were able to achieve , while keeping the game approachable and understandable! I'm a board game fan, and this is a great little dice pool/worker placement game!

Polish it up, add more animations and sounds and such and you could have a popular game on your hands!

Thanks for your kind words. I’m currently planning out a small roadmap for it, and already have a post-jam build (link in description). The new build is more challenging and less grindy towards the end and the challenges appear way earlier; IMO more fun to play as well.

I’m definitely looking for ideas and inspiration so if you have any, feel free to ping me on discord.

Man, I went real hard on this one, and got really into it. love this concept, but it gets a bit monotonous. The mystic forest was cool, but I don't know what the doctor does. Day 50 with like 17 people, farmers are key.

The graphics are simple but the animations were nice and everything was snappy. The theme is there, it's decent, but any resource management game will fit so it's not an interesting use of the theme.

Yeah the balance is a bit off (too easy) because I didn’t want anyone to feel bad. I am trying to balance the game right now and might expand upon it :D

The new balance spike the difficulty much earlier than turn 20 or so.

To be fair I played 2 games where I died pretty early, before I learned how important farmers were.

It was simple and engaging. A nice challenge as some planning required to not run out of food while expanding. Adding food being consumed this turn would be nice in the UI. Some goals beyond "don't starve" earlier would be nice (not sure if they happen eventually, didn't play that many turns).

Got to day 44 with a doc, a forager, an explorer, and a farmer, and a few normal dice, and no sign of stoppin’

Gotta move on but it was pretty entertaining

You aren’t far from where I wanted the game to end. At turn 50, the bad events will come in faster and eventually kill you. You could in theory go on forever if you are lucky, and manage to get more doctors, but that is in theory.

Statistically, the game should end before that. :D

AH MAN! I knew I should have kept going! I wanted to make sure I got to the other games, but I was prefectly happy to keep going where I was :P

I really like this one : ) simple yet complex. really easy to understand.
