Funny story which is definitely out of this world. The screen shake albeit briefly was very jarring. What struck me as odd was that the duck people are a man and a girl (not a woman) despite her looking fully grown.

Ahoy there! It seems we both made visual novels involving spaceship crashes!

The background with water, sky and mountains was very pretty and well made, I Iiked how glassy the water looked.

A few elements I particularly enjoyed were the duck sounds, the ancient duck scrolls and the shonen powers, haha.

I was a big fan of your game last year, and I really enjoyed this game as well. There were a few parts of the story writing I feel like could have been improved a little, but nothing stand-out major. I also got a few good laughs, mostly from the visuals, which was great. I liked that not only did this follow a fairly literal interpretation of the theme, but it seemed to also follow the theme figuratively. The serious parts of the story were great as well. I loved the slow realization of what this planet was (though I had first assumed it was just a private game-hunting planet), and I think it was well paced. I noticed the "to be continued...", and I don't know if you're actually planning on continuing this post-jam, but I would be excited to see more of this story. I will say, though, that I felt like the flashback at the end was superfluous, and I think the story would have flowed better without it.

This is such a silly and original story and I love it!! It especially left me chills when I found out that the computer was actually associated with the hunters and lead the player to the cliffhanger. I think where you left the story off was a nice place that left me satisfied with lots of answers but also left some questions dangling to keep me wanting more. I would've loved to see audio sliders or choices in game, even if they didn't change the story at all. Overall, it was a very fun experience with a very unique spin on the theme :)

thanks so much for playing :D very happy you liked the story! There were a lot of elements planned including decisions, different ending etc, that were not possible to fit in in the amount of time I had for the game jam, so the build is more a teaser. but as such I'm all the more glad you're interested in the plot!
