I like the art, but i felt the island itself too big, i wasn't able to reliably find the goats so i ended up using my own blood a little too much, also i think it would be better to have stuff like the building were you make bread be unlocked by some kind of achievement
The pixel art graphics always win my heart. The art could use some work though. Is this based on a dungeon framework? because I played another game in this jam that feels like it uses the same bones—right down to the inventory UI, player stats and the way the player faces me whenever I stop moving.
I felt the beginning of survival, such as being able to plow the fields and sow seeds. As you can see in the comment below, I was confused when I tried to cut down a tree and couldn’t do it. It may be intentional that some of the trees are set up at an angle, but I think it would be better to set them up straight.
This kind of reminds me of The Settlers. I think I'm meant to chop down trees and plant crops etc but I couldn't figure it out. I wasn't sure what some of the icons at the bottom were. I like the main player character - looks like a proper viking.
Oh, sorry I understand that it might be a bit hard to understand what you’re supposed to do, you are not supposed to be able to cut down trees. But I've added pictures to the descriptions of the tools so that it'll be easier to understand what they do and explained a little bit about the game. Thanks for the feedback!
Nice game! I liked the music!
Thanks!
