Updated the game with 3 levels of difficulty

This was fun game, the really high sided shapes were very hard to see the difference but i liked it when it kept below 8 sides aha.

Solid game, only thing I'd wish for is a speed up for the early levels so i can hold space to get through the first 3 when i kept dying.

This feels kind of embarrassing, but my max score is only 7.

Anything with more sides than a hexagon left me guessing and I usually guessed wrong. I think there are plenty of children who would be better at this than I am. :D

The UI looks very nice. The graphics in general are simple and clean. One thing I'd note is that the player's shape quickly obscures the bottom portion of the incoming shape, making it much tougher to match them up. (Or I might be making excuses for myself.)

It would also be nice, I think, if the final size of the incoming shape and the player's shape were exactly the same, I think that would make for a more satisfying visual if they were perfectly aligned, and give a greater sense of 'fitting through' the challenge.

The music sounds good, but the repetitiveness of it did start to grate on me after a while.

Thanks for the feedback.

I myself couldn't score much :P

It requires player to remember their current shape and guess target shape from top half. I didn't have the patience myself :P

I initially had shapes with 16 vertices, but they looked much like a circle. So reduced it to 10 vertices.

I did have the shape on the wall same size of player's shape, but it was difficult to count the number of vertices. So increased the size of the shape on the wall. Let me see how more i can enhance this.

Regarding music, thanks for the feedback. Let me add more such tracks so that user doesn't get bored.

Nice implementation, funny that is very similar to another entry from this same jam with slightly different implementation :D

I like that's a fixed lane, make things easier

Developer

Thanks :)
I also noticed the other entry similar to mine :)

For lane, I had the idea of implementing shape per lane. So, player need to match shapes in all lanes to progress further.

You can see the Future comments in description. Medium difficulty will have 2 lanes, and user will have to match shapes in both lanes to progress. Likewise Hard will have 3 lanes and Expert 4 lanes.

Within the time, I could only implement the Easy part :)
