This is a game with very good presentation and an interesting idea but unfortunately its kinda brought down by the execution. Like the core mechanic of switching shapes is super cool but there's little reason to not use the square with its miniscule hit box (and frankly the circle is completely useless regardless of how you slice it).
I think with a rework of how the shapes work, this would be very good game; maybe instead of just changing stuff like speed you could completely change how each shape controls; for example the circle the circle could control like the standard Asteroids ship whereas the triangle has some sort of dash mechanic. I would definably be interested in seeing more :)

There is no incentive to really use the different shapes, but the mechanics work pretty good. I like the idea of shifting shapes and having a different movement.

Great entry!! I really enjoyed the vibe given by the graphics and music, it definitely kept the intense energy up. Transforming into different characters was a really cool idea, too, and I think it could be pretty cool to see this continued into a fully-fledged project ^^ Like others have said, the square seems like the best option at the moment and I couldn't find an advantage for the circle, necessary, but having those options were nice :)
Edited to add: Some invincibility frames would also help out the gameplay a bunch, I feel. I got trapped in the pathway of an asteroid a few times, so I instantly lost all my hearts as it rammed into my character over and over. So, removing the player's collider with the asteroids for a second or two could make it feel a bit more fluid and forgiving :)

Has a fun gameplay loop and the music is nice. But being the square kinda makes the game a lot easier then it should be. Overall not a bad entry, pretty solid good job
