I remember last time, the judges were allowed to play past 1 hr if they wanted to.

I’m working on a monster catching project and in its current state, it’s easy to go over 1 hour if you want to catch all the creatures.

You can but follow a rule,  the judge will review your game within only the first hour of gameplay (I'm not sure if it contains a story cutscene or not).

They can be over an hour, but the games are judged based on the first hour of content.

Oh that's awesome! I also have a mon/capsule collecting game! Can't wait to see how yours ends up!

Don't worry, I have a few endings in my game that take... let me see... about 10 seconds each time... 4444 times... 44440 seconds at best.... 740 minutes... about 12-13 hours to obtain. I mean, those endings are in every one of my games pretty much and really are just a sort of easter egg for those that know me. (I added a speed up mode that makes it so that you can obtain those endings faster).
