Description
Inspired by the image provided, I imagined a scene of an office where the workers are tasked with editing the dreams of other people, and the track tries to convey this in three parts: first the mechanical work mixed with the spiritual task of connecting with others, then the purely fantastic nature of the dream, and finally the return to reality and its mundane routines.

Description of Setup (Optional)
Produced and mixed in LMMS with preset instruments.
The drones at the first section are the Sad Pad (Vibed preset) equalizing down the low end, and Lead (SID preset), bassline is performed by SEGuitar (TripleOscillator preset) equalizing down the high end, and the lead voice is the Electric Oboe (TripleOscillator preset) with no reverb added.
At the second section drones and SEGuitar are dropped and Strings Pad1 (ZynAddSubFX preset) provides the harmony. Acid Lead (LB302 preset) is used to reinforce and enrich the timbre of the last notes of the oboe.
A cushion Resonance Pad2 (ZynAddSubFX preset) is used for the transition to the third section, where Closed Hihat and Shaker (Kicker presets) provide the percussive drone while Mad Mind (SID preset) gives some kind of oral bursts. In the background there's a staccato of two Wah Choir (ZynAddSubFX preset) panned to full left and right. The piece ends with the beehive (BitInvader preset) before the Resonance Pad2 dissolves.
The panning I used can be seen at the provided image.

Nice minimal elements to add that monotonist act of working on a repetitive task, very tech work like machinery and comunications, but also deep and unique for the jam, congratulations!
Thank you!
Solid work!
I like the story you added to it as well. The little ideas are pretty cool.
I would add more to the scene for the painting and spirits portion of it, to bring more spirit energy to contrast with the mundane world.
Nice job!
Thanks a lot!
Hey! I did a review of your entry via video. I posted it on the Jam discord but appreciate everyone might not be on there. Here's the video timestamp for your entry: https://youtu.be/1-aLhBdNCKE?t=6176
Gosh, 4,5 hours! You're my idol. Thank you so much for taking the time to listen to my entry. You had me laughing out loud with your reactions to it and I'm very happy to hear I achieved some of what I aimed for, including the nefarious typewriter! I'll check out your take on the other entries too, as I'm sure I'll learn a lot from it.
I really like the transition from what sounded to me almost chiptune style into the more ambient orchestral feeling, it really sold the story you were telling with it, and added this surrealism into the middle section which I loved. I wanted more though! Just a bit more time to explore each section would have been really nice.
Thank you so much! Glad you liked it! :-D
Really liked the shaker and high hat combo at the end, the combination sounded like a typewriter, very cool!
Hehehe. Thanks a lot, man! Glad you liked it. ^^
A bit short on each idea, would have liked to hear each idea transition into the next (especially the arp in the intro which felt like it was dropped very abruptly, would have to loved to hear it morph/switch to an organic instrument). Really cool choice of sound palette and the storyline you wrote sounded really innovative.
I will apply that idea of morphing instruments in other projects for sure! Thank you so much for taking the time to listen and provide your feedback.
A glitchy mountain! I only thought it was too short on time :(
That's definitely a good sign. Thank you so much for listening and commenting!
interesting ambient relaxing and gives a good atmosphere
Thank you!
