Description
I wanted to create an atmospherical song. i used the harp as the "lead" and the rest of the instruments created the atmosphere. i tried to build up the suspense before transitioning into the ending, where the character has reached the "peak"

Nice work! I liked the relaxed, somewhat dark ambient vibe it creates. I like that you developed it very softly.
Constructive feedback: I think it could definitely use more balance on the ears in terms of panning. I would say I might transition to a different chord at 1:37. It also ended up being a little repetitive - which is actually a really common problem when you're sort of "clicking in" the notes. I tend to recommend to everyone to improvise on an instrument, and if you don't have one, at least get a budget midi controller and just mess around with sounds in your DAW.
I actually strangely like the chord at the end quite a bit, and could definitely hear you just doing some drones of those chords, especially since ambient music isn't always asking for much.
Good job!
Hey! I did a review of your entry via video. I posted it on the Jam discord but appreciate everyone might not be on there. Here's the video timestamp for your entry: https://youtu.be/1-aLhBdNCKE?t=9928
Cool build up, very unexpected with the bass at the end, I was waiting for a second track
I really like the storytelling this song has! The beginning was very quiet and I had to double check it was playing, but it really fit the story you're telling of the ascent into the mountains. I do agree it could have maybe used a bit more variety towards the end, something to really set the peak apart from the climb itself to go along with the really dramatic swells.
The motif of the climb is very vivid!
Would have loved to hear more variation in the arpeggios, especially near the latter half of the ascent, where it starts to bunch up a bit sonically.
Really captures the asceding mood towards the peak. The outro section was really nice!
cinematic ambient, I like it.
