Well done Hoist, probably my favourite of them all, you kept it simple and i'm very glad you did. I think you only need to do some mastering, its very low in volume around -26 LUFS, you can clearly crank it up a bit, give more presence to your small bassy punch and you're all set. Good job !

All right its a pretty calm piece, I like most of the ideas you wanted to go for. For feedback, you mentionned reverb I don't think you need to be afraid, play with the wet/dry signal for the intensity, look for the feedback you want adjust to your taste, and a nice trick I got from Ty is put a low cut to 500hz, reverb lows creates mud easily. I would alos look into your hits at around 55 secs, playing thirds on the low registrer does not go well in general so the arrangement plays a good part in what sounds good, even with nothing mixed, a well balanced piece with only instruments can sound decent, adding the mixing procedure will just make it sounds even better. Good job :)
Very nice Eetu, traditional take with ethnic instruments I like the way you managed the textures. I'd watch for your main melodic instruments sometimes its a bit too harsh in the high spectrum. I like the overall arrangement it fits very well the theme, I would look at 4:24 the harmonic corrolation with the main melody, there is something going on there, its sounds okay but I feel like you can fix the way the chords are presented so it sounds more dominant and wider. Good job :)
Well that is truly 100% ambiant all the way through, so many textures here and there, I agree with some of the comments, some annoying high frequencies that can probably be tone down a bit and yeah maybe the bass clips at some points due to so many layers stacked together but anyway you nailed your atmosphere, good job
Very nice take pretty simple yet it works for ambiant pretty well. Now feedback, the mix sound very great actually good job on that its very well balanced. The clav is probably too dry and too much in your face, there is also some random accidentals at the end of some notes. I like the use of leitmotivits a nice touch. Ending with the clav is a bit questionnable imo the notes thats being played unless its intentional I would revisit those a bit. Other than that its actually pretty cool and very listenable, good job :)
Pretty cool atmosphere, a bit dark souls like but toned down, I think its nice the first minute then we're stalling a bit. You can also add some EQ at some point to the percussions and transient to make it pop a little more if you want to create more tension later on instead of keeping it the same, you did it at some point with the doublebass but I think it can be more in your face. But if we want to keep it ambiant it will need to be subtle. I think the overall mix can also probably get a little boost in dB. But thats pretty good overall , good job :)
Nice works, its a good composition, since you didn't use a DAW thats probably why some sounds in the mix are not quite well placed in the mix and could've been more forward especially the piano, if you can find a way to extract the audio part of each instruments and mix it somewhere else I think it will enhance the quality by alot.
Well done Grunt, probably the best you made so far from what i've heard from you, you created the indie ban fever dream. I would've love at some point at like 2:30 or 3 min even, to add a really deeep bass to help us get out of the mid range, the atmosphere sounds great but a release at some point is also a nice feeling. You can probably clean some frequencies after the first min, The first min is perfect btw. But this is super ambiant you nailed the vibe good job.
Nicely done Letina, very soothing and calm atmosphere it really has a sweet and "watery" vibe to it, I adore the little reverb laughs as sound design. The only thing i'd say to look is the main pluck instruments, its an important one and too much in the background, I would suggest you double it with another similar instruments lower in volume with some verb and maybe a chorus on it, then pan it or use a HAAS for stereo effects it will give more presence to it. Good job :)
Interesting take, I agree with the MIDI sound even though yes its midi files and I don't know how this DAW works but if you can mix up the velocity and modulation of the sound thats being played it would make the track sounds so much better, I think its a pretty good composition, with good articulations it will sound fantastic.
Well big journey, very interesting atmosphere you got here, I don't know if that was intentional but its like you played two different songs on top of each other which creates a big clash and lots of artefacts that may sound very experimental. But at least its very creative. There might be a bit too much reverb on the piano that we lost most of its essence. A part from that good job :)
Cool track, I like the guitar and bass, nice atmosphere with the sound design. Like Alex told couple of MIDI sound like instruments especially the orchestral ones, winds, brass and strings. The piano at the end is also a bit percussive and got some peaks, you can probably pan it a bit add cut some annoying frequencies and put some or more verb if its not already there. The 1 min ending tail is a bit too much XD, you can probably cut it at 2:05 it would've been fine. Good job :)
Sweet middle-eastern vibe, for me you are going in the right direction as for ambiant track. I love the vocal motif, I wish you would expand more on this somewhere else in track. Maybe also add some more prominent bass at some point just to keep the texture going. Same for percussions mix it up a bit more would help to have a different feel from time to time. Good job :)
You probably did some insomnia doing this because thats lots of work. Gotta give points to creativity always, you really have your own sound. I liked the creepyness on most of the tracks. First track sets the tone and I told you multiple times I still think you can tone down the volume a bit, at some point I lost the ambient vibe but you brang it back. Last track only thing I would look for is the acoustic guitar that is really too percussive its agressive. Tone it down in volume, velocity and frequency would make it more enjoyabe. Stunning amount of work, good job :)
I don't know how mixcraft works, but in other DAWs you can play with quantize and not be limited to 1/32, you can add a touch of humanization and how much you want to quantize. You have to be critique and look carefully when you do it to obviously not over do it, it's not a select all quantize work. You have to be more precise with it.
Very fun album, the mix on most of the tracks is in the mid - low mid I think you just need to balance those and it will help a lot. First track is also I think played a bit too robotically. I think the holy bread is great but the vocal synths is too much in your face and it shows, when you have the budget hire a real vocalist it would be much much better but for the meantime we deal with what we have and its perfectly acceptable.
Apart from thats its a nice mix of texture and different composition, good job.
Don't be too offended by the feedback I went all in since its unranked :)
All right first thing, you have to EQ the highs, its way too piercing, its missing alot of mid and low in the mix to balance everything, the composition is fine you probably need to add some textures around it to make it fuller. And add a soundcloud, bandcamp, youtube link instead of downloading the file, its more convenient.
Also my feedback may seem brutal but don't be too offended by it, I went all in sine its unranked jam.
Very nice storytelling, I really like the woodwinds runs well done. I think the strings could move a bit more especially at the very end around 2 mins, it moves on the violins but I think cello and bass you also add up to it. Maybe i'm wrong but it feels like it other than thats its really well done.
Okay feedback time it is : Piano playing feels really robotic with the quantization, also the stacked chords on the left hands its all right but I think very basic you can change the voicing and open everything using two hands it will sound wider other than thats the harmonies works well its a nice pacing with two distinct section.
All right, well pretty simple feedback : First two tracks, sounds nice but it feels too much the same for the entirety of the song, need some mix up or something to get me hook. The sprawl is the best in terms of composition out of the tree you have actually something going on for me. But even though it sounds like the whole track is on the RC-20, I think the bass and drums could get more precense in the mix it would create a super sick atmosphere imo.
This might seem a bit brutal but don't be too offended by it its still a nice album :)
Actually a pretty nice track, great build up, only the low notes on the guitar i'm not a big fan especially when the bass starts to get there its clashing a little bit. For drums, only the kick is well in place the snare and hats are super far away, I think even for the style of ambient and chill track it can be a bit more present in the mix.
I say that to everyone but, don't be too offended by the comments its still a nice track :)
