Description
Hello everyone,

I wanted to take a moment to address an issue that’s been affecting my participation in game jams on itch.io. Unfortunately, some users have mistaken the music tracks I create using my software, armonyMaker, as being AI-generated. This misconception has led to my exclusion from certain jams, which is both frustrating and disheartening.

To clarify: armonyMaker is not an AI but a powerful tool I’ve developed to assist in music production. The compositions it produces are the result of my creativity, effort, and the software’s unique features—features I’ve poured countless hours into perfecting. The fact that these tracks are mistaken for AI work is, in a way, a testament to the quality of what armonyMaker can do. It makes me proud of what I’ve achieved.

However, being unjustly censored due to ignorance or even envy is something I didn’t expect to face. I believe the gaming and music communities thrive on innovation and collaboration, and it’s disheartening to see such barriers arise.

I hope this post sheds some light on the situation. If anyone has doubts or questions about how I work or how armonyMaker operates, I’m more than happy to provide transparency and engage in constructive dialogue.

Thank you to those who support my creative journey—it means the world to me.

Best regards, astasio

It is nice to see people using other tools that are not DAWs; definitely produces a different sound, cool!

Hey, glad we got more clarity on what is actually happening with your software. It is a neat tool and I know it must have taken a lot of work to develop just looking at it, and because it's all raw programming, that's a huge amount of creativity to have to put into something. Nicely done.

It reminds me of how I create instruments and use them in my music. Ironically, for this jam, I actually didn't use one of my self made instruments! Heh.

Great work! :)

The duality was an interesting take on the theme, it has some oriental feel and all but I don't really think it nailed the theme.

Composition is not bad, got some good drum beats there and the harmonies are still on spot, the melodies, I have mixed feelings about them, don't know, seem lack "feeling" to patternized

Mixwise, everything is loud I think the instrument spacing should be improved as the instrumens timbres, ofc depending on what sound you were expecting to get out of it

Hope the feedback is useful, take care :3

thanks for the review, your observations are correct, the song was not mixed, but they are the sounds of a soundfont saved as is.
