Dig the graphics and the way you captured the "different night, same thing" with the proc gen houses!
Very fun! It took a bit of time to get the other endings, but it was worth it. My only problem was what quackoquack has already mentioned.
All in all, very good!
Original idea and I thought the roguelike feel with randomised house layouts was very cool! But as others have mentioned, I found it a little confusing that conversation states carried over between parties.
Yep, like rebeccamwrites also pointed out the state carrying over was an oversight on my part. No metaphorical excuse for that. 😔 Thanks for playing!
Loved the use of Roguelike here to convey a sense of movement. There's a moment you challenge a character for his movements which you can see in the game which was awesome. Since states carried over from party to party it was a little difficult to know if/how I was progressing. Love the idea of using a Roguelike ASCII presentation though.
( Also general advice fullscreen this or you may end up with your Browser scrolling you about!)
Very intriguing, I liked it a lot ! The ascii graphics work very well and damn Eun was rough. The loop really conveyed that anxiety feeling of going to parties where you don't know anyone.
Eun laid it all out for me…
There's a lot going on here, thematically, despite the simplicity, and it's a novel concept (to me). I just got "stuck" in the narrative, and I can't tell if there's any way to progress or if it just keeps going.
Thanks for playing! There are technically four different endings, or at least outcomes, of which I should have been more clear. The most meaningful one is getting Eun to talk, although they are all very mechanically simple.
