I had a project I started way back that fits this jam's theme. I want to completely start over except for the premise, completely different rule system. Can I submit that for the jam?

Sassy.

Technically impressive. I wish you had more time to finish the narrative. It reminds me about a show I worked on in grad school, though it fell apart.

Oh, yeah, I meant that it was reminiscent of my own.

Nice tale. Looking at the other reviews, the story could have ended in multiple ways, but it felt like I was forced into my choices a bit. I felt personally attacked a few times, but it should probably be a source of encouragement.

I enjoyed this. The dialogue was funny, and it was interesting trying to find meaning in the pearls. It seemed that the ingredients didn't matter, but it was a fun mini-game.

I believe the 'ctrl' key has the function the 'E' key is supposed to. The graphics are charming, reminiscent of some older adventure games. The inventory and item combining system is impressive for the time frame.

I liked the concept, and the execution went from "this is too simple" to "oh this is actually clever." Two things that drove me crazy: the slow text crawl and the buzzing noise. 

This took me a few turns to get into because I felt like it wasn't clearly established, so I thought it was going to be something different than what it turned out to be. I really liked it in the end. The choices and their effects felt rational and interesting, and the narration had character to it.

I enjoyed the story and my first playthrough well enough. The simple story and illustrations pair together well. My second attempt's choices were met with unintended consequences. I didn't understand why the same choice would have two completely different results. It seemed like there is some random element, possibly derived from my stats or the order of events, but the harshness of the penalty turned me off a bit. Too arbitrary. I suppose I wanted that mechanic spelled out for me more. I still went back and played again for another ending, but I couldn't replicate the situation.

There's a lot going on here, thematically, despite the simplicity, and it's a novel concept (to me). I just got "stuck" in the narrative, and I can't tell if there's any way to progress or if it just keeps going.

Poignant. Rather short. I wonder if the idea could be expanded.

This is a clever one. The "mechanics" reminded me a little too much of my day job, but I was engaged the whole way through despite it.

I think the the in-between place was when it grabbed me.  Good writing.

Never seen that happen. It's probably a glitch. Ink seems to have trouble with large files, and the one it's pulling from there is actually an entire (public domain) book, with my own additions.

That part usually works. It might happen when you go back from the failure, but I'll try to narrow it down. Thank you for the details. That's 5:00 AM programming for you.

Could you remember where that point was? I thought I'd tried all the paths.
