The art and sound effects were fine, except for a small graphical glitch whereby lines appear between tiles when moving.
I have some recommendations for the game design:
Let us see more of the area. It's uninteresting to just see a close up of the character and not much else.
The fog of war should lift when you enter a tile. This would slowly uncover the area and give the player a sense of progress.
There should be a level indicator when going through a door beginning at Level 1. Again, this indicates progress.
Background music would be a nice addition.
Maybe add some enemies that chase the player when disturbed. Have some way of detecting and avoiding them.
